A creature dubbed either ‘Millie’ or ‘Harrietta’ has appeared on Lake Harriet in Minneapolis this week. Explanations include suspicions the creature was brought in by the park board to quell the rise of Eurasian Watermilfoil in city lakes.

All indications lead observers to believe the creature is herbivorous and poses no threat to Saturday morning regattas. Until this can be confirmed, small children should refrain from playing in the water.
